About The Tour:
Experience Switzerland like never before in this immersive alpine bush flying adventure. This 20-leg journey takes you deep into the heart of the Swiss Alps, where precision flying, terrain awareness, and scenic navigation are essential.
Departing from Zurich, you’ll navigate through winding valleys, crystal-clear lakes, and towering mountain passes. Each leg is carefully designed for low-altitude, VFR-style flying, encouraging you to follow natural landmarks like rivers, ridgelines, and valleys rather than relying solely on instruments.
You’ll visit a mix of regional airfields and challenging alpine airports, including Sion and Samedan, where high elevation and surrounding terrain demand careful planning and smooth control. Expect short hops, frequent takeoffs and landings, and constantly changing terrain that keeps every leg engaging.
Ideal for bush planes and light GA aircraft, this tour emphasizes slower speeds, hands-on flying, and pure exploration. Whether you’re skimming along Lake Geneva or threading through narrow alpine passes, every moment offers breathtaking views and rewarding challenges.
Recommended aircraft include the XCub, Cessna 172, Pilatus PC-6 Porter, and other STOL-capable aircraft. Fly low, stay sharp, and enjoy one of the most scenic bush flying experiences in Microsoft Flight Simulator.
