About The Tour:
he Northeast USA Tour is a premium multi-leg journey designed to showcase the most iconic and diverse flying regions in the United States. This route takes pilots from the coastal beauty of New England through the rugged Adirondacks and Appalachian Mountains, across the Great Lakes region, and down the historic Northeast Corridor to Washington, D.C.
Carefully structured with a continuous, non-reversing flow and no repeated airports, each leg delivers a unique flying experience. Pilots will navigate a wide range of environments including coastal island approaches, mountainous terrain, inland valleys, and complex metropolitan airspace.
Highlights include:
Scenic departures along the New England coastline
Mountain flying through New York and Pennsylvania
Lake Erie shoreline approaches
The New York City VFR corridor
Historic routes into Philadelphia, Baltimore, and Washington, D.C.
This tour is suitable for both VFR and IFR pilots and accommodates a wide range of aircraft, from general aviation to light jets. Leg distances are optimized for smooth progression and realistic cross-country planning.
