About The Tour:
This 25-leg VFR tour takes you across Norway’s most breathtaking landscapes, designed specifically for prop aircraft in Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020/2024. You’ll experience everything from tight fjords and steep mountain valleys to remote Arctic tundra and polar coastlines.
Starting in Oslo (ENGM), the tour eases you in with shorter southern legs along Norway’s gentler coastline before quickly transitioning into dramatic western fjords. As you move north from Stavanger to Bergen and into Sognefjord, the terrain becomes more demanding, requiring careful navigation through narrow valleys and rapidly changing weather.
The middle section of the tour pushes into true wilderness flying, with longer legs suited for aircraft like the Cessna 208 Caravan. You’ll cross the Arctic Circle, reaching Tromsø, Hammerfest, and Kirkenes, where navigation becomes more remote and weather more unpredictable.
A highlight of the journey is the Svalbard leg, offering a unique polar flying experience over icy seas and glaciers—one of the most visually striking parts of the entire tour.
Heading south again, the route brings you through central Norway and the Trondheim region, before returning to classic fjord flying around Ålesund and the western mountains. The final legs guide you back toward southern Norway and ultimately return to Oslo, completing a full loop of the country.
